July’s Newsletter

This Month’s Newsletter!

It’s Steve’s favourite month of the year!!! No, not because we’re on our holidays (we’re not!). No, not because the weather is (sometimes!) nice and warm. No, not because he loves strawberries (although he does!)……it’s Tour de France month!!! Sigh…

He’s extra excited this year, as Chris Froome won the Criterium du Dauphine in June (often considered the pre-Tour “race to win” – I suppose it’s like Queens is to Wimbledon, or the Gold Cup is to the Grand National). Anyway, he’s super excited, so fingers crossed the weather doesn’t cause any major hiccups such as it did last year when several of the race favourites crashed out on surfaces rendered like glass, thanks to the heavy downpours on the continent!

Good luck to Froomie, Cav (Mark Cavendish), G (Geraint Thomas), Alex Dowsett and all the other British riders taking part!!!

We hope you enjoy our newsletters and welcome any comments… Call Joanne or Steve on 01274 965411

Fancy a Trip to Wolverhampton?

The UK’s largest networking event will be held at Wolverhampton Racecourse on Friday 18 September and guess who’s exhibiting there!!!

The Business Networking Show proved to be a huge hit last year and this year seems set on being even bigger still. Since we couldn’t attend last year, this will be our first foray into the show and if feedback from last year’s show is anything to go by, we can’t wait!!!

Besides all the usual stuff you’d expect from such a hive of business activity, on our stand there will be information, freebies, plus a competition. What more could you want? Oh, and Steve will be there with me too…

So why not come along to the UK’s largest networking event and bag yourself some hot prospects, a few freebies and say hi to Steve and I – we’d love to see you there…

Well Done England Women’s Football Team

Third place in the world cup is a fantastic achievement and the girls should be proud. I must admit, I saw some of the football but fatigue forced me to bed at half time on more than one occasion. Steve, however, watched the lot and to be honest, he’s the one who got me watching it.

Unfortunately for the girls, a cruel own goal in the 2nd of 3 minutes of injury time in the semi-final cut their adventure short. They did so well though, taking the word champions Japan right to the wire.

Well done girls – Steve and I look forward to watching you in the future and, who knows, maybe going one step further at the next world cup!

What’s hot? A focus on Construction

Did you know that through Data Bubble, you could access over 200,000 businesses in the Construction sector, including 120,000 telephone numbers and 115,000 email addresses? Everything from Access equipment to wrought iron traders is included within around 1,000 different industry sectors.

Selections available include:

• Industry type
• Geography (from county to postcode)
• No of employees
• Turnover
• Website

All data comes with the business name & address, the name and position of the senior decision-maker, plus where emails are requested, you can receive the contact’s personal email.

All data is fully opted in for third party marketing and screened against the Telephone Preference Service where appropriate (i.e. where tel nos are provided). Our usual Quality Pledge applies to all data supplies.

And finally…

All Clear for Abuto!

A personal note here – Bubble Towers had a scare last month when it’s eldest employee (ahem! Well, she is 63 in dog years) developed a lump. Thankfully, after a few days tense waiting, the vet gave the all clear and Abuto is back to her normal self, save for a small shaved patch on her rump!

Feedback please…We welcome all feedback, good or bad, whether it relates to data supplied, our newsletters or other contact, us individually or as a company. Seriously, the only way we can ever hope to get better is through client feedback, so please keep it coming.
